Instructions for Discussion

Below are suggested questions you can ask students to reflect on to help with your discussion. You may be inspired to ask different questions based on the needs of your group.

  • Sister Porter found a quiet place to pray for her husband in the hospital. Where do you go to find peace? How does this help you renew your faith, pray, and focus on what is most important?
  • Sister Porter said, "No force of wind can break the bonds of the covenants we have made with Heavenly Father and His Son in baptismal fonts and in holy temples." Why is it so important to you to make and keep these covenants?
  • School may feel like a hurricane at times. However, you have moved forward in your courses this far. How did you find strength to do it?
